I have always wanted to see how potent a cheap ta$er was, so here is our official test! It is tested for knockdown power and actual voltage to name a few. We ultimately want to dispel all false ta$er advertising. Apparently this one is 990,000,000! ha!

i've wanted to buy a taser for quite a while now, not because i fear for my life but because i think it would strengthen my relationships, especially with my friends and family. there is something about the sweet, sweet sound of electricity crackling from a taser that i'm sure would submit all of my subordinates i mean subordinates i mean friends

this is really informative but just wanted to make clear that this is a stun gun :) stun guns are often mislabeled "tasers" but the difference is that stun guns require actual physical contact to work while tasers can be used to shoot from a distance, and tasers can actually take a person down.

So I say this allot. I have said it before on other channels. Stun guns more commonly known as taser's are not very effective and are borderline scam's in my opinion. I highly recommend pepper spray. Even if the stun gun worked you are still getting closer to the attacker. I would very much like to distance myself from the attacker as much as possible and with pepper spray it does just that. I am a martial artist with 18 plus years experience.

Also what you used is more correctly referred to as a contact stun gun. A taser is a brand of stun gun that shoots darts.

I've seen recommendations to go for the groin or neck with a taser to increase the effectiveness, however it does seem like if you aren't already a physical match for your assailant these aren't as good for self defense as we'd like to hope.

Not that voltage rating matters much anyways, as long as it’s high enough to overcome skin resistance.

A great distraction and intimidation device while you use the other hand to squirt them in the eyes with the spicy pepper treat at 10 ft. away or so. If it takes a minute for the sauce to kick in then slam them with this thing. Sensory overload and no doubt going to be interesting to watch.

In my "opinion", if you were to connect a very high voltage capacitor in parallel to the output of your demonstrated device, it may do more than burn!

I know this is a long shot but I am trying to build (or find) a high voltage square wave
AC power regulated supply for a future project. The input should be 110V AC and the output
between say 10KHz and 1MHz (adjustable) at 200Kv and higher, also adjustable.
I dont know enough about electronic and I thought you could point me in the
