Branch Together brings Christians together to read the Bible every day. We know as Christians that we are called to "branch out" and reach the world around us, but first we must come "together" and develop habits that help us grow to be more like the people Jesus is calling us to be. So before we Branch Out, we Branch Together. Some people might call this Daily Devotions, or Quiet Time...whatever you call it, our videos kickstart your most important daily habit.

This chapter is a hard one to get through, reading how our Lord King of Kings was treated so horribly the blatant avarice shown against Jesus is so painful to read, though he went through it all willingly to do the will of the Father, to free us all from the penalty of sin and through his death and resurrection give us the most precious and undeserved gift of salvation. It is still so painful to the heart, and soul to imagine the terror Jesus went through to free us from sin and death's grip. We are all so unworthy of such a precious gift, but it just shows the extent of the Love of God for us that he would allow the sacrifice of his beloved son. All so we can be reunited and be in his holy presence for eternity. God did not have to give Jesus for us, he just simply loves us so very much. We should never take our salvation for granted. Thank You Pastor Jared, a really good word today.

This is powerful after everything Jesus did for us still they denied him, may God forgive us and may he bless us with a heart of humanity to love one another and most importantly to seek him in truth and in faith 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌

crazy story, I was actually wanting Luke 18.... and for some reason, I typed in John 18..
took me a minute to work it out as it wasn't what I was researching while reading in my Bible..
hmm.. wowzer... John 18.. as you were reading it, it was like it was unfolding in my mind, visually, emotionally and wanting more.
I could feel my heartache, my shame, my denial of him.. im a prayer warrior & talk to yeshua most of my days, but this John 18 created another level.. a deeper level of seeing my own demons I still have..
and to think if I typed in Luke 18, I would have missed this learning, I feel from my father, a directional shove actually.. wowzer..
everyone is on different levels of connection. if your not talking to yeshua in silent prayer, , privately & daily, he wont know you,
reflect his character., be selfless, . compassion for all will bring world peace.
if revelation is unfolding, it will get worse but our kingdom isnt here.. its with yeshua and our Heavenly Father..
I have just received a big gift, an answer to prayer. a shield..
thank you.

Omg. Reading this chapter is self incriminating, many of our daily observances and conduct might serve a rejection of Jesus in contrast to what our lips proclaim. Thanks for the message, pastor Jared.

Awesome job with Chapter 18, Jared! You framed that very depressing (yet necessary) scene better than I remembered ever hearing it. Certainly something I will carry with me going forward in my journey.

I don’t know if anyone will read this but I am so thankful I found this video and how you explain it in a way the truly wrecked my heart. Seeing Jesus be slapped in the face by our sin wrecked my heart the most, every time I’ve sinned it has slapped him in the face just like this person did. Thank you for breaking this down for us and I can’t wait to read chapter 19...I do have one question: why did Pilate say “what is truth?” This question will not leave me alone lol

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul!

2 When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down,
when I was sinking down, sinking down,
when I was sinking down beneath God’s righteous frown,
Christ laid aside his crown for my soul, for my soul,
Christ laid aside his crown for my soul.

3 To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing;
to God and to the Lamb I will sing;
to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM,
while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing,
while millions join the theme, I will sing.

4 And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on;
and when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on.
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing his love for me,
and through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
and through eternity I’ll sing on.
