What a perfect design to build on a canal in Florida! The breezeway could allow you to move your water toys to your backyard where they may be stored or moved onto the dock on your canal.

Almost Perfect for a TWO container home. I would continue the roof over the entire length of the sea Container (In Texas) ~ providing shade for the entire home. No direct sun in the Summer and zero concerns for a leaky roof. I actually built a small tiny home 8x12 that has two roofs. An inner and an outer. Air travels between the two roofs to help keep the heat at bay. SHADE is MAGIC. Use it when you can.
Note: I have already purchased arch metal car ports to be used as 20 feet x 36 feet coverings for my RV park -- that I'm in the of designing. I had two reasons for buying the car ports:
1. To keep the electric bill as low as possible.
2. Protect customers expensive RV's from the weather (a valuable Amenity)

I would like more living space instead of two car ports or two garages.

I liked it v. much. I want to build a tiny house. But some problems are there. My land is v. small adjoining to a drainage. I feel to make the land little more bigger by concreting the drainage and join with the small land. Half of the drainage can be used by fixing concrete beams and build a shipping container.
But before everything I would like to know whether it can be built or not.
