Duolingo Crown Level 5 complete in Russian-German before dog walking 2019

I have completed the fifth Crown Level on my Duolingo Russian-German language course (language tree). The Russian-German language tree is a ’reverse tree’ for me, because I am a lot more proficient in German than in Russian.

How did I complete Russian- German Crown Level 5?

I cheated a bit by testing out using the help of Google Translate. Well, honestly saying it was not easy this way either. Considering it cheating or not, I have learnt a lot with this method.

Why did I ”cheat”?

I completed this language tree before the initiation of Crown Levels and it frustrated my very much that my once shining golden tree was ruined and I had to do it all over again. In many lessons I see no point in the countless repetitions. In the more difficult grammatic topics I was simply stubborn, referring to the above mentioned completion of the tree earlier, and I refused to re-do it. Yes, it is childish, but I see it this way. Anyway, I won’t stop until all my Duolingo language courses are at Crown Level Five.
