Yes Anna is a narcissist but I also believe she may also be on the sociopath spectrum as well. She doesn't mind taking, she doesn't mind who it hurts either. She is obviously a Mid Range narcissist, I would say upper mid range because she manages a facade and she is haughty and extremely self entitled as well.
In watching the Netflix series, it was telling how Anna's mask slipped when she couldn't pay the hotel bill; she literally glitched. I also saw a video of the actress who played her (sorry I don't have her name) but she described Anna as quite soft and infantile at times. I would put her as a somatic narcissist, but it's her cold empty "doll eyes" that make me believe she is also a sociopath and I wonder what was done to her in her childhood? She has absolutely 0 emotional empathy, I don't even see much cognitive empathy either although I have no doubt she is a very intelligent young lady, and she knows it! She has 100% confidence in her own intellect (grandiosity) and actually describes herself as brilliant.

Even with all this going on with her, I do believe she could have been quite successful in the venture she was pitching! As utterly cold and manipulative as she is I think she may have least for a little while. 🤔

I have not seen the Netflix series nor have I ever heard of this woman. But her story (as told by you HG) has fascinated me, and appalled me. It never fails to amaze me just how many people in the world are seemingly devoid of conscience; of a recognition of right from wrong, and a total lack of empathy for those who they ensnare in their web of deceit. I am also blown away by how someone like this could get away with fraud for so long - and serve such a short jail term. She sounds very much like a narc to me and I'll def be watching the NF series. I'm looking forward to further videos on this empty vessel of a human being. Thanks HG. PS: Still love your takes on MM though. She's a whole different level.

Timely video! She is a narcissist — ✅Haulty behaviour, ✅ sense of entitlement, ✅revision of history, ✅ character traits acquisition, ✅ triangulation of people with other people or objects, ✅ lack of sense of boundaries, ✅ use of façade, ✅ grandiose, ✅lack of empathy/remorse, ✅no sense of accountability.

Her project (ADF) is meant to be a reflection of what she thinks of herself. She has many talents (eidetic memory, speaks multiple languages, exploiting her marks by knowing their weakness and desire) however her intellectual abilities are nothing but superficial. She would make a great sales person, however her ultimate project is not that sophisticated nor original, it proved to be beyond her ability, even as a narcissist. Does she has cognitive recognition to her narcissism? In my opinion, more than Harry’s wife but not to the level of an Ultra — Upper Middle perhaps?

I watched this after seeing the Tinder Swindler and because I recognised the excellent Julia Garner from Ozark. She is most likely a psychopath to behave like she did and I imagine the dramatisation made her seem more fluffy and friendly round the edges.

I don't know if what they portray of her in the movie is exactly how she was in real life but the character in the movie is a 100% narcissist, it was built with the idea of a narcissism in mind. Ms Kent (the journalist) even calls her a narcissist many times. They press this key of narcissism so much in the movie that it looks a bit fake, exaggerated.
