Colter Wall's voice rings out in the back pasture for this incredible rendition of "Bob Fudge," written by Ian Tyson. Huge thanks to Colter for taking the time to share his time and talents with us at the back pasture, around the bend from the Red Ants Pants Music Festival!

I thought I hated country music, turns out I just hated the commercial trash they try to feed you. Colter Wall, Cash, Jennings, Haggard ill listen to all day!

When he pauses and sings “when I first saw Montana...” it gives me chills every time

His ability to tell a story in a song is what true Country is all about.

It’s rare you get to see a legend evolve in the flesh before their tale is written, stamped, and told. God given natural talent, endless practice, or a few trips to the crossroads I don’t know.... doesn’t really matter, but comparing him to Cash doesn’t quite capture his sound. One day when they say the name Colter Wall people will pause and know...This fella is on his way to becoming one of the greatest country singers ever.

This song makes me homesick for a place I’ve never been to.

Just what we need, more Western and less Dirt roads, daisy dukes, and Jack Daniels in country music

I wasn’t into country music when Cash was alive. I missed all of Hank’s life. But this.. Colter Wall. The songs. The voice. The presentation and the pride in where he’s from... Saskatchewan of all places. I’m happy to say I’m witnessing this. As another comment said, one day the name “Colter Wall” will be said and heads will nod.. respect and smiles for what he did for music, and especially country / western music, will be poured. Thank you, Colter. Keep em comin.

A whole mans life in 5 minutes shows the beautiful simplicity of life in the old west.

Raw talent. Colter has taken a path in country music that very few would ever think about doing. A true cowboy storyteller that I could only compare to the late great Marty Robbins. He shares a lot of similar characteristics of him and I love it. He will definitely go down in history as a legend.

I'm obsessed with his voice in this song. Absolutely stunning. This is quite possibly my favorite song by him.

This is just golden. You can hear the wind and the thunder over the mic. And you can hear that A string buzzing. It’s perfection.

Sitting on our 5th-generation ranch in Lampasas County. Just heard this song. My great grandfather rode cattle drives up the west. We have his letters. I have never been to Montana. Not sure it would be a good idea. From what I have heard, I’d never leave. We have no more rain down here. Love this man. He understands us. We are not Nashville. Sometimes an outsider knows us better than we know ourselves.

I am enjoying the progression of his vocals. He is obviously working on them all the time. Stoked for the next album!

I own a cattle ranch in Lampasas county. I LOVE this song!!! Such an amazing song sung by a talented guy. There is a long history of cattle ranches here. I am glad he did this song.
