Try some good thermal putty if you're concerned about pads causing less than ideal core contact. Upsiren U6 Pro / UX Pro perform as well as high end pads and you can reuse it.

I am guessing, but building hightowers with 3 times the capacity and maybe 10-20 times better RSR because of good quality capacitors, must have diminishing returns when connected down to a pad that is designed to be good enough for 1 standard cap.
Going wider and connecting caps to the unpopulated spots is probably the only way to go if more capacity is needed.

Curious how much you would reduce the voltage drop, since you already have measurement before hand.

Hmm, I thought oscilloscope probes are kinda special in that they have a resistive lossy coax, and a probe compensation cap that together get good high frequency response. Not sure how valid directly soldering a coax like this is, in terms of impedance matching.

On the other side, I'm running the TUF 4070Ti here as well, and it seems that I did ok with this choice, even if I'm just running it near stock with a slight O/C.
