This series has been so so interesting and I would like to buy Chuck's course to show some support for the efforts here.

One question regarding VXLAN and maybe a future series for you David. Can you maybe consider a GNS3 lab where you can show how this is built in the physical (yeah I know it's software) underlay would be configred to allow something like VMware NSX to operate.
I would personally love to see a series on how to lab up VMware NSX as well.

In the use case for VxLAN EVPN's. Where VTEP's will keep mac address mappings. If a given mac address comes in that matches an entry in the mappings, it gets encapsulated in mac-in-udp, which then will have the destination ip address of the other VTEP on some other site. Then when that frame gets there, the L2 and L3 info get decapsulated by the VTEP and all you have left is the mac-in-udp info left and that gets sent to the end device
