Virtual eXtensible LAN, or VXLAN is a network virtualization technology that is exceptionally useful for large datacenter and cloud computing deployments. VXLAN has been developed to overcome some of the limitations of scalability that are inherent to more traditional Layer 2 technologies.
In this video, the third in the series, I'll be discussing the VXLAN encapsulation process, the VXLAN header structure, and the process by which communication takes place across the underlay network.
