Hell no- a person in a committed relationship should always support their partner. Is it a hardship? Yes of course. When my wife graduated from medical school and started her surgical residency, the hours were long and hard. She would come home exhausted. I made it a point to be there for her. I held her ❤️ and reassured her that she was following her dream. Likewise when I was accepted as a flight nurse she was there for me 100%. We have always communicated. For us that was the key.
