I so agree about conscientiousness. As there is a great deal on longevity in my family, I have often thought the traits of longevity are modeled and taught.

On the daylight savings point. Won’t heart attacks be higher naturally due to being more physically active with more daylight hours? How much is this statistic to do with sleep versus being more active in the brighter days of summer? I hope this makes sense 😊

How do you manage sleep if you work rotating shifts through different time zones, my friends a pilot on nonstop international routes and feels extremely sleep deprived, hasn’t told his passengers or employer this. His partner who is a an air traffic controller is in a very similar situation.

This is not good science. While getting a good night's sleep is obviously extremely important for health, and research is finding more and more benefits for sleep, you can't just make broad sweeping claims based only on the data sets which agree with your conclusion and neglect the data that doesn't. Meta data in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea for example show people getting 8 or more hours of sleep a night or less than 4 and a half to be by far the most unhealthy group. Other researchers looking more closely at the data say the data reflects an overall average of 7.5 hours of sleep seems optimal, but closer inspection of the data shows a bell curve of healthier individuals between 6 and 8.5 and unhealthy below 4.5 and above 9.5, suggesting that each individual's ideal sleep varies depending on their own personal make up and it is better to determine ideal sleep levels by looking for early key signatures indicating sleep requirements. If you fail to mention other scientific findings, even if you disagree with their conclusions you are not a scientist, you are a salesman.

I have given up alcohol. My coffee 😩 Fasting has done so much for my health overall and coffee is so key for a nice clean fast. My gut is not so happy though. Slowly decreasing caffeine due to this.

Hello Dr.Chatterjee, while Mathew walker sound very soft and very very clear, your pronunciations/diction is very very hard to understand. Plz don't try too hard to sound like a hard core Britisher. It will be nice and clear if you are in your natural elements. You are here to communicate clearly; wish you slow down a bit and make your communication clear.
