Stage 2: Something might be wrong with the Starliner but we don't need to do anything about it.
Stage 3: Something probably is wrong with the Starliner but there's nothing we can do.

I also want to state that it's pretty disgusting how many people are making jokes about this. These two people are truly in danger and so far from home. Have you no heart? This isn't a movie.
