Most of the catering orders i do, which used to be about 4 on Wed and at least 1 every other day, do not show a plus sign or the full amount. The highest difference I have seen was offer at $12.50 and ended up being $200 for 2 miles of driving.

I hate when doordash bundles a shitty customer with a decent one. 90% of the time the bad order goes first also

The Signature requirement may also have to do with how things are billed. As an example: I picked up an "order" at Advance Auto Parts (it was an Air Filter) for delivery to NTB (national tire & battery. It's a chain of auto shops). Upon arrival the NTB employee had to Sign for delivery. The clerk at Advance Auto Parts said NTB had been using DD for parts delivery for about 1.5 years now.

Now that you have shown you can handle operating in different Zones you should watch for DD to send you more Out-of-zone deliveries. I'm Platinum Level and I have sent them pictures of my DD Catering Bag. They send me Out-of-zone in a regular basis crossing into neighboring zones and sometimes 2 zones away. Also, showing DD you are able to cross into neighboring state will get you orders with delivery in the neighboring state. I get orders in my home zone (In OH) with a destination in PA.

I’ve been in LOP for years and m my catering bag photo is required every day I get an order. It’s not in my profile but obvi could be different with these new programs

I was under the assumption that the priority diamond, sticker, platinum badge, or whatever you want to call it only shows when you got it over a nearby driver- hence priority.
When I was testing out diamond program in my area I got a few $2+/mi offers without the diamond when I was above 50% AR.
And if I remember right, I believe it even says that “your high AR gave you priority on this offer” on those implying it got sent to you over someone with lower AR
Assuming this program works the same, it’s probably because there just weren’t other drivers around. But also in my market a High Paying Order was set at $1.75/mi and up and it fluctuates between markets

It just updated for me today. I have the same going in nj. North Jersey has it but central Jersey doesn’t. I travel almost everyday to wegmans for DT. It took about three days. But now it’s not asking me to equip a bag anymore. I have received at catering order yet tho.

The tier program started here last week. As a platinum driver that's delivered many catering orders, catering orders have now died down and there is a theme with offers. Two $2 offers come in going 6 to 12 mi away. 🤷 (So much for priority high paying orders) Only if you decline them you immediately get a decent close by order.

Platinum drivers only need 100 in your zone? It's 150 in Fresno, Ca.

I do catering across zones..I've been doing catering for several years, didn't have to do that new verification of bag inside and outside etc, roommate has to verify for approval. is catering spreading thinner due to new system? Yes, because people had to get invited before. Pizza delivery i control on dash, but still take pix sometimes, which is stupid. Platinum high$ running $3-6 is crazy..

I have been in the lpo for over 1 year. I’m platinum in my area Durham NC. My account says pizza bags verified always. My catering bags were accepted over 1 year ago. Most times when I get a lpo I am asked to take a picture of the bags. I get lpo in and out of my zones Keep going. You will eventually get there as yes you are correct. DD is trying every way they know how to get a piece of the pie

Video topic when do you hit confirm delivery if you are in apartment with an elevator I had a second request for a delivery and they sent me a message saying I wasn't on the way yet but I still hadn't gotten out of the elevator yet

I'm on gold now but i was in the large order program before the tier program. I still get large orders once in a while. I found it to be strange since they say that you need to be "Platinum" to be able to get large orders.

I’m now dashing almost exclusively in Seattle as my area is toast. Averaging over 30.00 per hour but takes an hour each way so 4 hours block needed either lunch or dinner. Made 138.00 in 4 hours on the platform 3 active.

I'm in a Top Dasher zone and I have access to LOP. When I change to a Rewards Zone, the app does not ask me to verify my Catering Bag. I just see what you see without asking to verify it.

A video I would like to see from you is what to do when you have a bad experience in a restaurant. I had one that got mad I wouldn't "complete" the order before I got the full order. I had a couple pizza restaurants keep telling me my pizzas weren't ready then 20-30 mins later they were ready the whole time. Can they give us bad stars and are we able to do the same or defend ourselves?
