The real key is loving what you do. Flow is difficult when its for something you don't want to do. Doing something you love is the best drug and flow follows.

I have entered the flow countless times in the last 9 months. Most often it is on the public busing system returning home from work. I write songs on the bus. Awesome, emotional, heartfelt songs that almost always make me cry during the writing. The euphoria during and after is wonderful. I have been to the flow state.

How to become limitless: spend LESS time watching videos, and MORE time reading, writing, lifting weights, practice an instrument, talking to everybody, visit museums, you get the idea! Over time, you become a bad ass!!

This is the state I enter when designing/doing creative work and especially when trying to fix a difficult code/programming sollution. Also when solving math-problems or brain twisters. Maybe even when reading, at the point where me mind forgets I am reading letters on pages and starts to percive it as a rolling movie in sted. Breath is sturdy, mind is clear, and there is no such thing as time, thus no feel of being tired, hungry or other bodely signs. It's amazing :)

Remove as much clutter as you can from your environment like your room/house. Throw away the things that you use rarely. Keep your environment as minimalist as possible. It will help you to focus on what you have to do much more.

Consciousness is very tricky, once one starts to observe things like consciousness and sub conscious. it starts acting like a mirror of what your thinking

Yea we already use 100% of our brain. The brain is like the muscular system, we never use all our mucles at the same time, but we do use all of our muscles. And like the muscles in our body if we don't train a particular muscle it will get weak. So we do use all our brain but not at the same time. If we did not use any part of it then we would not have it. And the same way we can strengthen a muscle to lift more weight, the same way we can train a part of our brain to have better capacity. I'm not expert, but being very curious about intelligence this is the best explanation that I think it fits the description of our brain's capacity.

The last third or so of this rang very true to my experience of flow state. As a sculptor making carvings, entering the flow state was easy and routine. Once achieved, it would seem to maintain itself spontaneously as long as there were no external interruptions. I would have to have reminders to stop for lunch, and then the day would fly by until quitting time. As long as I had control over the creative process and knew what the finished product would look and feel like, the rest felt as though it happened by itself.

If you find it hard to enter this state follow these tips. It allows you to enter the flow state at will:

Step 1. Before you begin the activity, pause, then take three deep slow conscious breaths. Let the mind be fully engaged in the breath for that time and nothing else.

Step 2. Focus all of your attention in the present moment. Pretend for the moment that past and future do not exist. Take awareness to your sense perceptions. Be fully present in the now.

Step 3. Slowly, with deliberate movements, go about your activity. Make it into a meditative practice but with an intensity of focus.

Step 4. Remain alert and keep the mind fully attentive to what you are doing in that moment only– not allowing it to slip off into unconscious mind chatter. Be completely absorbed in the activity as if you had just been born into this world. You will find that the activity ‘comes alive’ when you practice it with mindfulness. If your mind does slip off into ‘autopilot’ simply guide it back to being intensely engaged in what your doing.

The flow state is everything. I don't doubt a single thing. Everything is so natural and right. I've gotten there after building up a tolerance in meditating, but it is unpredictable when exactly it will occur

I am a simple man I read limitless I click. Limitless is one of my favorite movies. Great video! To get into the flow state you also need to clear your mind before attempting with writing everything that is on your mind and maybe meditating :)
