Bangladesh Protest Leaders Propose Interim Government Led by Muhammad Yunus

Bangladesh student protest coordinators called for an interim government led by Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus. A video released on Facebook early Tuesday showed coordinator Nahid Islam rejecting any military or fascist-supported government, emphasizing the need for a government by and for the people. Islam stated that Muhammad Yunus has accepted the role and that the proposal will be presented to the President.
