For the people that quote Peter, and rightly so since all scripture is authoritative, you’re forgetting that Jesus disarmed the dark celestial powers, from a salvation and eternity standpoint. That’s the whole point of Colossians Ch. 1 & 2

Satan has power over unbelievers, hence why we preach the gospel, the power of God. But he is a toothless & weak lion with no power over Christians.

The devil has no more power on the believer. I come from a pentacostal backround where they made satan very powerful and demons in everything and can enter you any second smh. They want to believe that but We are in Christ, He protects us and Satan does nothing that God doesnt permit. Our temptations and evil desires come from with us. Thats what we must watch for. Do not live in excessive fear of demons and satan. That belittles God.

For he walks the Earth to and fro looking for whom he may devour.
