How are they alag-alag (different)?

Curd also known as Dahi in India is a creamy delight made by souring pasteurized or boiled milk using natural or added bacterial cultures. Lactic acid bacteria, like lactobacillus, ferment the milk and transform it into curd. The result is a slightly tangy and sour taste that might even make your teeth squeak!

On the other hand yogurt is created through a process called bacterial fermentation. Using yogurt cultures, typically Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, milk is transformed into yogurt. These cultures produce lactic acid, which gives yogurt its tangy and acidic flavour profile.
Sometimes, other strains of lactic acid bacteria may also be added to enhance the taste.

Nutritionally curd contains high amounts of calcium and phosphorus while Yogurt is filled with the goodness of proteins Remember to embrace the tangy goodness of curd and yogurt and keep exploring new flavours.
