I watched this while falling asleep, and realized if you close your eyes, it sounds like Joe from Family guy. This was a great informational video!

Last week I stopped and bought a box of Chocolates for the tellers at a local bank who always seem to go out of their way to help me. I didnt ask for anything just took it in and said thanks for being so helpful !

" Low key" is the way to go. No one really needs to know what I'm " eye -ballin", lol. It's my business. Thanks brother.

Can’t say I’d want to do CRH for a living, but I am intrigued about just doing it as a hobby. Don’t know enough about key dates and all that to want to look that closely at a lot of coins, but identifying silver coins is pretty easy. Thanks for sharing this informative video.

Hi I'm retired and started searching pennies. I fell in love with the wheat pennies. But also starting to collect a little silver too. It's a great pastime. For me it's the search that's fun. I planning on leaving my little collection to my great-niece. She's 4 right now but when she gets a little older I'm going to try and get her into coins. Thanks for all your great information. Keep up the great work.😘

Giving back to the tellers should be number one!! Every time I find a coin that's worth over $100 all the tellers in that bank get a gift card. It is definitely not a way to make a living but is a good side gig and hobby. You are not going to make a $100, 000 a year with one person. If you do it a whole lot you might make $500 to $1, 000 a month. This is not pay all your bills money. And yes I put in 10 hours a day at least four times a week sometimes more. This is not scratch a couple tickets and win millions of dollars It is hard work it is time consuming but if you enjoy doing it it's awesome!! Good show Blue!!

My biggest regret in this hobby is waiting until 2020 to start hunting when I also first became aware of the hobby during the silver spike of 2011/2012. But yeah, you absolutely can make a living at this but you have to know your coins and varieties and consistently hit serious volume. If you live in a small town, you need to move to a city. Keeping your tellers happy is always key as well.

This vid gave me a ton of inspiration and ideas to make coin roll hunting a great side business. Takes a ton of time and effort but I have gotten a great start. In the neighborhood of 20 k last year and half way there this year. Thanks for all you do, roll on brother!

Thank you for the sober advice, I'm hanging on to a small inherited coin collection and enjoying the process of educating myself about Numismatics. Sheesh even coin collecting books are collectibles! I have even started paying cash when I go shopping and for meals just to get that little bit of change to rifle through for the fun of it, still haven't gotten into the business of selling anything yet. Usually a store cashier is willing to provide a few dollars in change... I might even ask if they would be willing to give up a penny roll to see what happens. I still don't know how to find rarities, but at least I know to keep pre 1964 pennies and the odd silver dime and such... Enjoying the process of learning and looking forward to growing in the hobby!

Great information Sean ! I thought all you guys made that much. I'm retired now and I'm trying to head in this direction but some of my stuff just isn't selling on E-Bay. You have a nice Dog and a neighbors cat.

I love the video I would really like to make this a hobby I enjoy it, if I could ask do you guys collect them and then sell them during the time the market is high for them? Or do you guys try and sell them right when they are found? Does it depend on your sitution I honestly don't know how ypu guy apply a form or profit to it because you have to get them graded right or it that only for rare finds such certain errors?

Mr. Blueridge, I wear bifocals, and I have a digital microscope, and a magnifying glass, and I am trying to be a coin roll hunter, I can't afford the boxes yet, I have been collecting for a short time, I believe you and your friend are spot on about working it like a job. Amen, I'm retired and I work at this about 35 to 60 hours a week. I haven't sold anything yet, but today I found a 1951s, nickle, out of a roll, and last night at a local convenient store, in the give a penny get a penny bowl on the counter and I found a 1888 Indian head penny! You can't hardly read the date but it was so cool! I learned it from you buddy!!!! Thank you sir for the great informative videos. Have a good day, the old guy in Florida. 😎

So when you want to get a large amount of coins from the bank you should call ahead and order them ? I've had some issue recently where some banks can't meet the amount I'd like to take out as if they were running low ? I don't get more than 25 dollars at a bank. And how many have come across banks that charge a fee? Thanks ahead a time for all the help!
