In the U.S. after male child born doctor suggest to do circumcision for baby regardless what religion are parents. It’s about avoiding possible infections in the future.

Circumcision protects both the woman and the man from STIs/STDs. Cancer (HPV; pretty much 100% protection ), HIV/AIDS (halved risk) etc. Including prostate cancer.

The fallacy of Assuming the Conclusion is made by many Christians who define belief (faith) in Christ at one point in time as eternal salvation. “Once Saved Always Saved” doctrine is debunked throughout the Bible.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” (1 Timothy 4:1, KJV)

The claim is that if someone falls away from the faith, they where never really saved and they never truly believed. These same people struggle when they themselves have doubts, even though we read in Genesis that Abraham, the father of faith, had periods of doubt.

Circular Reasoning
Question-Begging Definition (Also known as Assuming the conclusion) This fallacy consists in making a claim true by definition, by subtly importing a highly questionable definition of a key word into one of the premises.

This fallacy is a form of circular reasoning, some absurd examples:

"People have known for thousands of years that the earth is round. Therefore, the earth is round."

"Drugs are illegal so they must be bad for you. Therefore, we ought not legalize drugs because drugs are bad for you."

A marriage of true love never ends in divorce or separation. You are divorced, you must not ever have truly loved your wife.

I’m in agreement with Paul. Jesus was speaking of the Spirit of law. The physical requirement of circumcision is ridiculous and has no baring on salvation. Jesus never said anything about gentiles requiring circumcision to be saved.

In the book of Genesis we read, God said—

"This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised."
Genesis 17:10 NIV
"My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant."
Genesis 17:13b NIV

So, God addressed circumcision as an EVERLASTING covenant for the descendants of Prophet Abraham (PBUH).

It’s ironic that Paul in his letter claim Christians are the seed of Abraham. As we read—

“If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If Paul were alive, I would’ve asked him, “how come you claim to be the seed of Abraham without EVERLASTING circumcision?”

Anyways, the truth is:
Accepting Jesus (PBUH) + Rejecting Paul = Islam
