KH1 had the best exp system for grinding. Early game your exp growth from parrying blows and catching enemy moves, so learning the basic mobs' move sets and learning to work around them, was the best source of exp. Late game being able to efficiently chew through crowds of heartless was the best way to farm exp. And it was a gradual transition in the middle of the game where the best way to level was a series of progressively harder progression bosses spread very evenly that grew in intensity and yield really well. Absolute 10/10 progression with the mobility you gain over time too, starting with the dodge roll, basic high jump, glide, then eventually the super glide that doubles as a faster method of movement is so clean. Not to mention the low height jump aerial combos being the most versatile quick jabbing dps output without skills meaning that even with your base move set there's good depth to help you learn new combo chains early. KH1 may have had a lot of flaws, but it's second to none in progression and growth.

I think Kingdom Hearts 1 is the best Kingdom Hearts game but thats just my opinion I think Kingdom Hearts 2 is still really good though.

Lol how is the story of the first game confusing? This is probably the least confusing game. The movement is kinda bad but I have only beaten kh1- bbs and kh1 is the the only one that has actual platforming at all
