BMW M3 Touring Review

The 2024 BMW M3 Touring is BMW's first high-performance M3 wagon, and it's everything we hoped it would be and more. In this video, we take the BMW M3 Touring for a spin to review its driving dynamics, exterior design, interior design and tech, and cargo space.

Driving Review

The M3 Touring is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine as the M3 sedan, and it produces 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This power is routed to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the M3 Touring can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

On the road, the M3 Touring is an absolute blast to drive. It's incredibly agile and responsive, and the engine provides plenty of power for any situation. The BMW M3 Touring also has a very comfortable ride, even in Sport+ mode.

Exterior Design

The M3 Touring is based on the G21 3 Series wagon, but it features a number of unique design elements that set it apart from the standard model. These include a more aggressive front fascia, wider fenders, and a quad-exhaust system.

Interior Design and Tech

The interior of theBMW M3 Touring is identical to the M3 sedan, which means that it's incredibly luxurious and well-appointed. The M3 Touring comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, and iDrive 8.

Cargo Space

The M3 Touring offers a generous amount of cargo space, with 50.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 72.1 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded down. As someone that owned an e91 328i with sport package and 6sp manual, (didn't intend to get rid of it ever, but it was hit while parked), it is really unfortunate that BMW USA is not bringing this one stateside. Hands down that was my favorite car and I know I would have not been able to stop myself from getting this M3 Touring. Shame.

Did you ask if there are any future plans to bring any of the 3 series touring models to the US? Audi has brought the RS6 avant… maybe BMW will consider the M3 Touring in the future?

Same cargo space as the X1/iX1... hopefully BMW won't abandon this style with the move to electric: a neue klasse equivalent would be "entertaining" and with better aerodynamics, better range

Prefer Taycan Turbo S Cross Tourismo or Tesla Model S Plaid Track Mode. They both feel way way way more faster than this for day to day use. Not even a comparison.
