Numberphile's video on the topic is just a 17 minute account of the miserable state the professionals are in and with no understandable content. It has had 438 thousand + hits so my factual easily understood proof should get a million +. It won't it will struggle to attain 3 figures. A reflection of the mathematical soul of the planet? Or perhaps it's just that people now prefer fiction to fact as it doesn't tax the grey matter!

1:53 No, it is not other people’s responsibility to disprove someone’s conjecture. It is the responsibility of the person making the conjecture to prove it to be true. If it were the other way around, I could just make up anything I wanted and people would have to go with it until they disproved it. That would be ridiculous.

Also, there are examples of mathematical conjectures working for small numbers and eventually being disproven with very large numbers. A great example is Mertens Conjecture.
