What is your definition of a minimalist home?

I think a minimalist home is a place where we can enjoy the freedom of space, time, and energy to focus on what’s truly important to us. This will look different for everyone. In this video, I am sharing with you how I am creating my version of a minimalist home. I hope you enjoy!

Sometimes social media makes us thing everything should look certain way, or with a specific aesthetic all the time... but reality is, as Sophie said, how do we feel about our own space and how we work in there. I love your home! It is so inspirational and peaceful. My parents used to live in Kauai before I was born and I’ve always wondered what it was like :)
I currently live on a truck route in mine and my husband’s first home and it’s been super frustrating. It’s impossible to drown out the constant sound of loud dump trucks going by and shaking our home. I tell myself this is temporary and we will move in a few years, but it has really put a damper on things when all I want is to enjoy finally having a home, and to focus on my peace. I don’t open my windows very often as it stresses me out and I will never get used to it. I hope to one day be in as much peace and within nature as you 🤍

I love your tidy home and furnishings! We have many of the same houseplants and planters.
We started our like this too... but then our two children came along! So our tidy home changed dramatically .
