Quick tip when your cross troweling up with water n brush use trowel on way back instead of walking to otherside of wall and starting again. Good way to sort crazed n crap walls out aswel walls look brand new this way 👌

A quick question. I do a lot of my own DIY but haven't really tried my hand at plastering. What's the benefit of using multi finish rather than finishing plaster? Cheers

Brilliant. The mesh like that is a great idea. Do you let the bonding dry before you begin plastering? Thanks

Hi Blane. Enjoy your videos. I’m attempting to plaster my kitchen. The 1930’s undercoat really sucks all the water out of the plaster. It seems to dry immediately. Any tips? Should I apply a stronger PVA mix. Soak the walls. Tried the extra time retardant with little success.

Been doing this for years now on old overskim. Leave the bonding, i just put it in first coat of multi, can 3 coat the multi if needed. Good job tho lad.

If you haven't got the power to pull up the wall give it up ! Maybe go sideways if bubbles 💪

Nice job, I was thinking use different types of colors in layers to make a sun rise or sunset look. Also a Night time after sun down or midnight or pre sun rise look.

Some walls are covered in cracks. This will prevent them coming back through.

We apply thinner plaster on our walls in London, can’t afford to lose any square feet
