UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday ignored the opinions given by the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court prosecutor and showed extraordinary defiance to calls for a ban on arms sale to Israel.

He was answering questions in the parliament on the occasion of the first anniversary of 7 October attacks.

Just listening to this makes my blood boil. The endless repetition of 'the horrendous attacks on October 7th' with no mention of the horrendous attacks against the populations of Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon. The attempts to accuse Iran of escalation and to blame everything on Iran. I also can't help noticing the lapel pin that the Foreign Secretary has chosen to wear.
