I just discovered you this morning and I plan to watch many more of your videos! Your videos are straight forward, and they have me very excited about learning more so I can take beautiful pictures on our upcoming trip to Portugal! I've had my camera for years and I have no idea what all of the buttons are about. In just two videos you had me saying oh wow, oh that's why it blurred, oh that's what I need to do.... Found you about 2 weeks ago. Have had a canon EOS 1200d for about 3 years. To be honest i never got it out of auto, so for the past year it's just been sitting in a cupboard.
Since finding your channel i've got back into taking photos again, all of which are without the auto mode.
I've even bought a couple of new lenses after watching your reviews. Although the weather may not be as good in the UK as where you are, i'm getting out there and having fun. Cheers Paul.

Some adverts website don't accept images larger than 4mb, so is good to have a flexible dslr when it comes to image size.

Pedantry: On Nikon cameras, Fine/norm/basic does not refer to resolution. It refers to JPEG compression level (how much information is thrown away). The image size (Large / Medium / Small) changes resolution. On the D3500 JPEG Large Fine and JPEG Large Basic have the same resolution of 6000x4000 (24MP). On medium the resolution is 4496x3000 (13.5MP), and on small it's 2992x2000 (6MP).
