Dumpster Diving Street Scrapping - AMAZING Day for Scrap Metal and Treasures!

Absolute banger of a day! The very first bin we checked and we got a truck full of nonferrous scrap metal! Didn't want to call the day that early though, so we unloaded and went back out, meeting up with a new friend and finding some high quality treasures. To keep or to sell.. that's the right kind of problem to have!

(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)

Growing up, my mom made me load & unload the dishwasher daily. Who would've thought that chore would come in handy 40yrs later when filling my truck with scrap? Like you, I always know how to make stuff fit!

You have not only inspired me to get into scrapping, but into "honest" scrapping. I always try and live by the, "better than you found it" motto when hunting. Love the videos!

You need a name for your business. And coveralls with a logo on the back. Business cards, a decal for the truck with specialized license plates, an official motto( already have that ), special working hours, and a technical coarse for the aspiring treasure hunter! Sound good?!

This would have been a good time to have a trailer, not for the weight but the sheer volume of everything.

🇨🇦 Last time I replaced 4 caster wheels on my cart, it cost $100, so caster wheels are worth saving & selling. 🇨🇦

That was a St George's Cross. Flown by many over the centuries but now very much the flag of England.

The best part of trash scrapping is what you find and find a purpose for. I would've made a tool chest with a Pan tray out of the cart and slow cooker.

For 40 dollars you can buy the degassing kit. Then you can get rid as you would oil. There is a course you can do, a day course this certificates you. mine can be took to the local Tip as hazardous oils. But still not worth doing refrigerators but aircons you can charge to degass then take the old ones away to ripdown. Amazing episode brother more more more

I love pulling things like that apart and putting all the weird nuts bolts and screw in containers, I've got hundreds of them only used 2 of the bolts, the rest have been sitting for years but one day they might come in handy.
