Thanks for all your our work on these videos. I wish I would have seen this last night while doing an HSL edit on a Milky Way shot. Previously, I would have to swipe the slider all the way to the right and left to see what is affected. The black and white contrast with the color option is very useful to me!

One other thing you wouldn't notice unless you were an Olympus user, is that Version 6 finally processes ORF raw files nicely. Previously the quality has been questionable, and I had personally resorted to buying CaptureOne solely to get a clean raw conversion. Now I only need Lightroom

Thanks for helpful summary.

It makes perfect sense that grain characteristics are a global setting even if there is the ability to adjust them in more than one place. Remember that grain on film is determined by physical/chemical characteristics that are uniform over the entire image, so digital processing should produce similar result.

The Curve/Sat slider is new and is a feature i've been requesting in Ps and Lr for about 15 years. Sure would have been nice if both curves shared that slider though, so that we don't need to toggle back and forth to set saturation.

Good video. Good to know about the Option (Mac user) for the HSL/Color options. New Grain on masks... if using them, then don't use grain in the main tab. Got it. but then again, can't use masking grain on more than one mask, if you want different grain amounts. Ohh, got it.

Anthony: Have you done a video about lens corrections? If not, could you? I've always wondered if you turn on lens corrections in your camera should you turn them off in Lightroom, or conversely, if you use them in Lightroom should you turn them off in your camera? How about plug-ins that use lens corrections? Can you over-correct pictures?

The Lightroom 12.4 update does not seem to be available to the Macbook Air M2. My iMac M1 has updated without problems. Any ideas how to deal with that?

I was trying out the Photoshop beta version last night, and I couldn't get it to select my subject correctly so I adjusted the selection. And then used the generate AI tool, and got a bunch of funky options that messed up my selected subject, too. In order to fix that, I would have had to re-select the subject, but since it wasn't selecting it correctly to begin with, I'm not sure how that would've worked. I gave up.

Over the last couple of weeks when I right click on an image in LRc and try to edit in 'Ps' the only thing that happens is Ps opens¿
As you know Ps beta is now Ps 2024 which I have updated to.
I keep my LRc etc updated.
I have tried to try the settings route but to no avail 😢
I've tried contacting Adobe but no reply.
Is it possible you can help please? I use a Fujifilm X-T5 with Fulifilm lenses.

Yesterday I updated to the new version of Lightroom Classic and was rewarded with an orange tint on all my photos. I reached Adobe this morning and they walked me through uninstalling the new version and installing 12.3. They said this was the first reported incident but they would look into it. Is this a result of the new process version you spoke about???

Hi Anthony, I’m working with a trash can Mac Pro, I noticed all my files were now plagued with big weird bright pixels mostly in shadow areas. If I zoom in they go away, first time I ever experienced something like this. I reverted back to version 12.3 and everything is fine again. Any idea what might be happening here ? Thanks.

hello, is there anyone has a issue about color shift problem after the update?
whole my presets are unusable after the update.İf I attempt any change on the photo it directly ruins my whole image(original preset photo) .Please help same on iPhone Lightroom and Mac Lightroom ?
