There are 2 types of objects:
a) Built in objects
b) User defined objects

a) Built in objects:
- Objects that are predefined in the language and are responsible for handling some specific task.
Example :
Common reference objects:
- Number, Boolean, String, Math, Date, RegExp, Array, Function, Object, etc.
DOM reference objects:
- Document, Elements, Attributes, Events, Style, etc.
BOM reference objects:
- Window, Navigator, Screen, History, Location, Storage, etc.
Other reference objects:
- Global, Error, Conversion, Storage, Arguments, Statement, etc.

Note:
DOM : Document Object Model
BOM : Browser Object Model

b) User defined objects:
- Objects that are defined / created by the programmer to solve any given problem.
Example:
Car, House, Student, College, Employee, Company, Point, Rectangle, Button etc.

Note:
- Every JavaScript object is a descendent of an Object called object.
- JavaScript Object object is a mother of every JavaScript object.
