This was a 6 month long collaborative project between myself and mooncatcher, culminating in one of the most satisfying redstone builds I have ever been a part of.

Thanks to @mattbatwings , @squibble111 , @Sloimay , and @CraftyMasterman for your cameo appearances. Very pog.

Hope you enjoyed the video!

Quick note about the Github code: Depending on your experience with Python and your technical know-how, you may or may not run into issues, especially when it comes to installing Python. The README should guide you through the process, but it is not meant to be a full how-to on installing Python, though I tried to be detailed. So if you run into issues, I'm really sorry, but I won't be providing tech support in the comments. I simply don't have the bandwidth to answer hundreds if not thousands of questions, and if I answer a few, it's only fair that I answer everyone. So if you run into problems, please look for a resolution online - I promise you will find something, but it will likely take some effort.

That said, I hope you all get to enjoy the Music Machine to its fullest! It's quite a magical experience and we're really proud of what we've put together. ♥

The vsauce note block music was an incredible touch

If you're a masochist, the next step is to encode note block distances so you can do some quiet notes and some loud ones.

Redstone has never been more advanced. From this absolutely insane jukebox, to Cubicmetre's nuclear technology, the future is looking bright.

I've seen people say it's impossible to ruin megalovania and I think your first attempt proved them right! It sounded sick even without the rhythm!

Holy crap, we went from making note block songs in Minecraft to our own music making engines, insane.

Dude you and mooncatcher make an INSANE redstone duo! the video and the build were SPECTACULAR!!!! I don't think I've ever seen a video that truly reflected the redstone process as accurately as this with all its ups and downs. If this is the future of this channel well I gotta start upping my game haha. 10/10

This looks and sounds amazing!

My name is Henry Cheng, I’m a classical music conductor and composer.

I’m doing a collaboration with Total Museum in Seoul, Korea right now to do large scale public art projects in the metaverse, specifically Minecraft.

I’ve been tasked to do a concert in Minecraft this November - we have a team of engineers ready to help out - but I would love to speak and maybe pitch my idea to you and see if you and your collaborators would be open in advising, collaborating this project.

Thanks!
Henry

SERIOUSLY that music sounds so GOOD if you had like an mp3 of it playing that will help a TON

I was waiting for someone to use the jukebox buffs like this, you guys did a really good job! And using the noteblock songs as the background music was a nice touch :p

Ah yes debugging, the most infuriating part of redstone design, taking 70% of the design time and 110% of your sanity
