A few years ago my ex partner and I were watching a really good pass of the ISS as it was going to be almost directly over our heads here in Southern UK.
We spotted a smaller, much less bright object following close behind the ISS which appeared to pull out, pass it and zoomed off into the Earth’s shadow in 2-3 seconds. Whatever it was it could seriously move.
Never seen anything like it since but did see a similar sighting logged on MUFON, also southern U.K.

I live In virginia, we lost power when Helena came through, with no light pollution, you can't imagine all the things you can see moving in the night sky.
I'm not talking planes with blinking lights, solid light that moves from horizon to horizon and a lot that move north to south.
Not saying aliens, just there are a lot of things in orbit we can see with the naked eye.

I definitely remember reading that the "black night" moved after being oberved; took months to find it again.

In 2001 space odyssey they left an object in the moon, so once we were able to reach space, they would be alerted. It would be logical for some species who live much farther away from us to do something similar.
