The way bobblazar said it pointed the bottom to a specific point in space time and grabbed it and pulled it to you. And the way Joe points out the way it’s disappearing and reappearing as it moves made me think that maybe the way they adjust spreed is possible by doing a rapid amount of short grabs of space in a specific direction and the longer the distance and speed of the grabs the more instantaneous it is.
