I am loving my @southwestarchery Ghost Takedown Longbow. This will be with me, when I've left other bows behind. It's perfect for hunting small and large game, target shooting, or wilderness survival. I'll have a more detailed full length review out soon. #burningriverbushcraft #southwestarchery #longbow #fyp #takedownbow #survivalbow

I bought my first bow in 1975. It was an Indian Brand compound. I graduated to a Bear Whitetail II which I still have and still shoot.
Shooting arrows came so natural to me. Hard to explain, but it just fit, you know?
I bought a recurve for fishing, and the difference was amazing!
Being a traditional archer you can understand this: shooting a recurve instead of a compound bow is like driving a car with a stick-shift instead of an automatic.
And I’ve always wanted to shoot a long bow, but circumstances haven’t let me do that yet.

I’ve been looking for a takedown bow for many years. I almost bought a Pack-Rat in 1999 (many years) but it was so expensive.

Your bow here will let me solve both my dilemmas.

Thanks for making this video. I will certainly check them out.

I too own and shoot a Ghost.Riser and limbs are A1 with me.The accompanying arrow rest is another story. Mine gave out after about 200 shots so I replaced it with a Hoyt hunter rest and it works just fine. The endless loop string isnt my style so I made a D97 flemish string which works just fine. Excellent bow for beginner to intermediate shooter..Have fun and be safe.
