This was about the best explanation I have ever heard on this subject Nic. I’m very new to this and I have very little knowledge on it, but the Paleo diet has been recommended to me by different fitness trainers. Thanks for your very informative video and I look forward to many more. 👍😎🇬🇧 🇮🇪

I have tried keto for a couple of months and it made me become binge eater, once I had something sweet as a cheat I could not stop. Then I learned I am hypothyroid and the doctors I follow recommend Paleo as the best option for my condition. I just started and I am super happy. Much easier to follow for me compared to keto, I am satisfied with the food I am allowed to eat and some of the benefits just came so quickly- no bloating, no constipation, better skin. I hope I can keep on seeing more results, I'd like to loose some weight which was impossible for me with a standard nutrition based mostly on carbs and lean protein.

This was a great, simple breakdown of the 2 diets. I just started doing Paleo and drinking Matcha tea and I have not felt this good in years. I have a lot of food sensitivities and Paleo is helping to take those off my plate. I have not felt this good in a very long time. Thanks again for sharing this information in a very accessible way!

I did keto 3 yrs ago and felt good but got bored of it. when I reintroduced grains my body felt terrible, now I'm gonna try paleo and see how I go . I believe this is the most realistic and rational lifestyle to follow . Good vid

Dr. Nick you definitely have succeeded in motivating and inspiring me. I just started paleo after doing 3 Day bone broth fast. I've already lost 11 lb. Keto was far too restrictive for me because I absolutely love all vegetables. Your explanation is so clear and detailed and most importantly, understandable. I really appreciate this information so much. I am 47 years old and tried every diet known to man. Paleo is the first lifestyle diet I can actually do and I feel satiated! I'm going paleo because I have alopecia areata and other health issues. I've hit the point to where everything I eat is making me sick. I've been dealing with excruciating stomach pains after I eat. I eat really bad foods. Lots of processed foods, fast food, boxed meals, frozen meals, you name it I eat it. I'm almost 100 pounds over weight and have developed peripheral neuropathy because of my weight. If I don't get it together I'll have it for the rest of my life. This video helped me understand paleo diet was better than any other video I've come accessed. So thank you!! You have changed my life with your video! Keep it up because you are helping people!

I like that you encourage people to just begin at the grocery store.
Better to begin anywhere than continue eating a standard American diet.
For most people the basic grocery store is what we all can achieve.

For anyone wondering there is no legumes eaten.
No beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils, soybeans, or peanuts.
Hard shelled nuts only' Lean meats, red less often, fish.

Vitamin D3 & K2 are essential. Inexpensive. Pervasively needed.
They are for Bone and Heart health. If on blood thinners,

Thank you so much for this video!! I really love your idea of cycling through keto and paleo. Im in love!! Im not dropping weight like crazy but I’ve made major improvements in my diet over the last week and my tummy is much less bloated. I FEEL better. I’m excited to keep it up. And with keeping the 80/20 rule in mind i dont freak out over a treat here n there. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great run down. I was Paleo and strict except 1 cheat meal a week. I was that way for 3 years and lost over 100 lbs. I was in phenominal shape. Once I got back on the SAD I gained it mostly back. I'm going to go for it again. In day 2 now and really hungry even though I'm on zero calorie restriction. Gonna take some time to change my metabolism back over again.

I am a firm believer that we were never meant to eat grains. I have been following the Paleo way of life for almost two years. I have lost 35 pounds and feel so much better. My bones don't hurt anymore! I am never hungry, and it was a painless process!
