NYPD Cop Rescues Blind Border Collie From Pond in Queens

Cops came to the rescue of a blind dog that had wandered into a pond. The NYPD says 8-year-old Sparky, a Border Collie, got into Baisley Pond in Queens and didn’t know how to get out. Two officers tracked down Sparky and one of them waded into the water to get the canine, who wasn’t much help. The officer carried the dog all the way to land, which seemed an exhausting task. I also have a blind dog named Sparky. I had goosebumps watching this video. To the officers, thank you so much for saving him. I'm so glad he's now safe and reunited with his family. I hope his owners will be more careful next time so another incident like this won't happen.
