Hey Joy I always like your reviews but let me be honest & this is from a brother to another brother. I would say for at least 5-6 months for 4 to 5 times I thought I should write this comment but I have hold back because I thought maybe there are very few who followed their passion & you are one among them. but number of fragrance you were acquiring I thought it was bit too much & the day you came out & address your problem I thought I should have written it long back.. Joy brother, If you are in a hole stop digging, please don't buy more fragrance no matter who are coming to support you please stop & go out & enjoy your life there is a life beyond fragrance.. I just want 1 fragrance review a month not 30 a month please take all the money you would save & go for a holiday or spend time with your family /friends but please get out of this..We as a Human being are designed to become addicted & the smartness is to realize & get out of it & not to become" slave of your habits " hope you understand I am not a hatter but please keep a tab on what you are doing... good luck.

I have a love/hate relationship with bvlgari man in black. It smells extremely good but longevity is only few hours. I will try costume national tomorrow. If the performance really 7-8 hours, its going to be perfect. Thank you for the vid.

Very happy that you are continuing! You are only beholden to yourself and if you don't like making reviews anymore, then don't.... But if you do, then do it. I live in NYC and have friends who have 1 million and more followers and make their whole living off of YouTube (and have the platinum button to show for it) but it's not all about the money. 2 months ago I first bought Costume National I, because I like the scent more. It is a very good performer. Got me a compliment. Fragrances seldom do to me.
A few weeks later I bought CN pour homme.
The first time I wore it: great bubble all day long, but the cloves I guess, not really my favourite scent.

Decided to wear it again yesterday. 9.00 AM in the morning. 6 sprays! Scent bubble all day. 11 hours later I took a shower and sprayed MMM By The Fireplace, which is a fairly good performer too.
Last night I got sick and was awake every hour. And everytime I got out of bed I noticed a scent bubble. Just as strong as all day. The Costume National scent bubble that is. I was puzzled. By the Fireplace was also still there but only noticeable with my nose close to the skin.

I got up this morning and it took me hours to get dressed. Still not feeling alright. Once downstairs I realized I forgot to put on Deo and EDT. But I also realized Costume National was still there and all but shy.
As I Am writing this, It is 1.00 PM, 28 hours after I put it on. The Projection and scent trail is still bigger than 70-80% of the 214 I own today.

My advise: don't overspray. It is intoxicating but perfect for someone with a bad nose, like me.
This is by far the heaviest performer I came across.
I'm curious how long this will last on my skin.
And if you don't like the scent, you will be needing to rub it off, as a regular shower won't help. (2x shampoo and 2x Joop shower gel, not one of the weakest by the way)

Great review Joy! I owned this one but swapped it because it's one of the only fragrances I've owned that actually choked me to wear. It's a nice scent but very strong

Yes, I like spices...yes, I like spicy fragrances...but, No!, I cannot stand Costume National Homme because I feel that it's a nuclear clove stink-bomb, with peach, that doesn't smells good and will generate unsolicited hateful comments from others. LOL! On a positive note, performance is stellar so it does have that going for it. Sorry, gents, but I didn't like this one at all. One final comment, my bottle is from 2014 which, based on the comments, may be more dense and clove heavy than bottles released in the past 2-3 years. Anyway, I would take Sotor Waaw over this one any day of the week. Cheers!
