I had the same impressions. Opted to stick with my edp. Just seemed too redundant to me. Incidentally, the last time I wore it, I layered it with Bvlgari's Man Black Orient and man was that a combo and a half.

I have the Edp, and smell extremely powerful, has a long lasting effect on me.
Still haven't try the Parfum version, and I want try also other nuance, the Soul and other stuff of Costume National, because is a great house.
