I have all the BAO CD’s and box set too! Fabulous band, real music, real musicians and two of the world’s greatest vocalists! Thanks for your comprehensive review, BB. I have listened to it several times and even though it didn’t “grab me” straight away, the songs are “growing on me” - I had a similar response to “The Visitors” way back when and it has become over the years my all time favourite album…

There re 3 songs from BAO that i would love to have heard from Frida and Agnetha as proper ABBA recordings.
1/Fait Accomplie (Agnetha on the lead)
2/Summa summarum (Frida on the lead)
3/Story of a heart(Brian May of Queen did a solo cover to this together with Kerry Ellis btw...The ABBA ladies would have nailed it!).

I'm sure I will like this as I love November 1989 and the other solo work. However, I'm primarily an ABBA fan and nothing Benny and Björn could do would ever equal the thrill of Agnetha and Frida singing together. It saddens me a little to think that some of these songs might have originally been intended for Voyage. Still, it's not the end of the world and I've accepted that ABBA as an entity aren't active anymore and unlikely to ever be again. We still have Voyage- the album and concert- not to mention their whole back catalogue.
