I grew up on a cattle ranch in the middle of no where. Only heat was from the wood stove so grew up using a chainsaw and all kinds of tools. You have natural fertilizer right there. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you

I am Belgian I have that same stihl It's one of the lightest but for it's It's a champ. Uses not much fuel. And when you have to work with it all the day.... It's not Exelent choice.

Good luck and take care!
Winter's coming. Lol.

Cement is only the glue in concrete. Calling concrete cement is like calling a cake flour. Cement is another word for glue. Thanks for sharing your experience in Russia.

Maybe it would be better to put up a wire fence to make maintenance easier and get more sun on the lot. For privacy, you can plant fruit trees next to the wire fence so that nothing can be seen through.

A chainsaw is definitely a homestead tool you need to have. Just be mindful of the tip of the chainsaw bar it can make the saw kick back if it makes contact with the ground or other solid objects. Great video thanks again 💯👍

You need to get a set length for firewood. Using a an aluminum yardstick/meterstick cut to length, bent 90 degrees, and attached to the chainsaw barnear the end will allow you to slightly mark the length needed. Detach the bar and cut along the marks just made when ready to cut. This allows for easier stacking and better efficiency. I have been cutting firewood for about 15 years now. I also work on Stihl chainsaws.

Always thought you should face the front of the house to the south, so I think it's a good choice changing the plans.
And please be more careful next time with the chainsaw - 11:15 ;) I treated a nasty wound from just a little slip of already stopping chainsaw blade towards the leg.
And the guy was an experienced firefighter btw. Cheers from Slovenia.

I have two chainsaws. One is IDENTICAL-looking Stihl. The other is a larger saw, a Dolmar (made in Germany). Your chainsaw and your digging bar will be your most-used tools.

So great how you make us part of your life path in beautiful Russia, this vid is also enjoying all the experiences around the construction of your place and home. I can see it Danny, after you have gained so much experience with your chainsaw, there will soon be a beautiful wooden Eagle on a tree trunk in your garden...sounds amazing isn't it? But for now, first things first! All Love and Joy, from the Netherlands ❤
