Behind The Set Of Harry Potter
Показать описание
Movies like the Harry Potter franchise have the ability to transport their audiences to worlds we’ve only imagined in our wildest dreams. They took the creations of J.K Rowling and made them into a tangible reality.
From Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and even Privet Drive, the sets that were created for the eight films are some of the best the world of Hollywood has ever seen. Just add in Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, and the wizarding world seems like one train ride away!
But - what really went into this set building? Beautiful and detailed sets don’t come without their ‘set’ backs especially with the added pressure of getting everything perfect by the time the director calls “action!”
Some sets took months to build even before production of the films would start and others were built for the sole purpose of getting destroyed! We’re talking about the battle of Hogwarts of course!
You’ll be surprised at how many sets were made practically instead of relying on the real life magic of CGI and VFX. Ready to find out why the actors and directors hated filming in the Room of Requirement? Even though it was stunning? Sometimes a set can be perfect to the eye but to the camera? Not so much. But the obstacles were all part of the fun for the cast and crew.
What set creation do you think is the most interesting and elaborate? Let us know in the comment section below. Thanks for watching!
