Rolls Royce is not exactly what you imagine when the phrase “mass-market” comes to mind, but with this exclusive creation, the company reaches new heights in coachbuilding. The Boat Tail was developed during a 4-year long cooperation with three of the company’s closest clients, who were involved at all stages of the process.

Constructed by Lancia and designed by Pininfarina, 037 is a 1980s model that was offered both as dedicated rally car and a road-legal sportscar. This year, it is being reimagined by the Italian Kimera Automobili.

Based on the Ferrari F12 berlinetta that was discontinued in 2017, Aero 3 debuts the most up-to-date interpretation of the styling created by Milano-based coachbuilder Touring Superleggera. Its exterior harkens back to the 1930s race scene when manufacturers were not afraid to experiment with different aerodynamic features.

Instead going their usual route and picking a peculiar name that needs additional interpretation, Mitsuoka decided to choose a moniker for this build that would speak for itself. The Rock Start combines the 4th generation Mazda Miata chassis with exterior design of the 1960s Corvette.

Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD reimagines a 1970 Manta A as a fully electric car, powered by a front-mounted motor and 31 kwh battery. The systems sends 147 hps to the rear wheels, and keeps the original, though modified, 4-speed manual gearbox.

While modern Jaguars have an unsure footing in the luxury segment, their continuation projects remain universally craved by the collectors. The latest limited edition celebrates 60 years since the first hand-built ‘77RW’ E-Type roadster was presented at the Geneva motorshow alongside the ‘9600HP’.

To celebrate the 60th birthday of the British icon, the UK David Brown Automotive launches the performance-focused version of the company’s rebuilt and fully-restored classic Mini. Developed In collaboration with race specialists from Oselli, the car has the BMC A-Series four-cylinder engine with displacement upgraded from stock 1,275cc to 1,450cc.

Targeting the most discerning car enthusiasts, the UK-based motorsports and engineering company will build thirty copies of their brand-new RML 250 GT Short Wheelbase. Inspired by Ferrari 250 GT SWB from 1959, the car gets a full carbon-fiber bodywork, a ‘chip cutter’ front grille, classic air vents behind the wheel arches and stacked dual taillights.

Planned for a limited production run in 2023, the Buddy is Mitsuoka’s first family crossover that is based on the underpinnings of the current generation Toyota Rav4. The model’s exterior has a 1970s vibe and is reminiscent of the 2nd generation Blazer K5.

Looking at Alphas, I'm surprised that someone finally managed to make a retro car with a modern level of greenhouse integrity. That's where most mitsuokas fail - they try to be vintage-looking, but the continuous modern roofline ruins them. Hope more manufacturers catch up to it
