In the last 40 years more people have been pulled out of extreme poverty than ever before in human history. Basically South America and Asia were taken out of extreme poverty.

aren't these all men's economics ? peter hitchens says the greatest lever to eradicate poverty is women's empowerment. men and women have a different approach to 'growth' ! But having heard you on bbc this morning quoting the original greek word 'eco', i am reminded of rowan williams excellent discussion of that in an old interview with Lord braggy - 'eco-nomics' vs. 'eco-logy' - in a nutshell is nurture vs. harvest.

"The Government" is incompetent. At least is seems most politicians are.

Neoliberalism isn't laissez-faire, liberalism was. They had to coin a new term for this reason. Either illiterate or deliberately deceptive. You can start by asking why it was called, "neoliberalism" and not liberalism. Why did Mises and Hayek leave the MPS?

The narrator lost me on some of these claims. For instance when she claimed that women were "in the home" due to capitalism. With free market capitalism women gained the vote, household chores decreased due to industrialization, number of children women bore decreased greatly (which seems to be the practical reason women are not "in the home"). Going to try to keep an open mind and finish this series. Hopefully the following videos are not so partisan.
