Oh my god, Tyler, I was crying throughout this entire video! I am deaf and I have been trying to get youtubers to do this for a really long time. It's so much easier to understand people when I can read what they are saying, instead of lip reading. Thank you thank you thank you! You are amazing! I can finally understand you so well! I love you for this, because not only did you acknowledge the fact that there is a deaf community, but you also talked about us as an actual community, not just as a bunch of disabled people like most hearing people do. Thank you, this is actually amazing.

Thank you, Tyler, for your video. As a person who is profoundly deaf, this means a hell of a lot to me. I've always loved Youtube Vlogs but never got to fully enjoy the experience as lip-reading people who are constantly moving or speaking fast is very very hard. Now there is closed captions, I can enjoy every single little thing just like any other hearing person can so this definitely made my day. Thank you :) On a little side note, I would like to say yes I am deaf but I consider it as a privilege to be part of a deaf culture, a tight-knit community with a different language :)

So at the beginning I refreshed the video, then put headphones in, then muted and un-muted. Convinced I'd broken my computer!

This video actually made me cry. Tyler you will never understand how much I appreciate you cc your videos. I'm profoundly deaf which basically means I can't hear anything. I love watching youtubers but you are basically the only one I can watch because you have cc. Even though I watch my favs (dan & phil, zoe, alfie) I still can't follow what is being said and I lipread everything. I have messaged them on facebook, tumblr twitter you name it to close caption their videos but they haven't done anything and it makes me so upset that I can't watch them. I will appreciate if you spread the word to them and help me and other deaf people understand it is a simple thing and can change someones day. Thank you. (I know you probably won't see this but might as well try.)

I'm deaf and this makes me so happy! I've had it with not being able to fully understand YouTubers and when my friends laugh, I'm left with no clue why and it was miserable. Now I can laugh with them and be able to fully understand what was just said or what happened. Thank you very much Mr. Oakley! You da best!

it's really funny how I'm deaf and can kind of read lips well so I knew exactly what he was saying from the beginning to about 0:19 thank you Tyler for spreading awareness of this i really wish more youtubers would caption their videos so that me and lots of other people can enjoy them too

I almost cried when I saw that you actually are taking in consideration people who are deaf, hard hearing, or others can now read it! Being deaf myself, I can barely understand and hear videos, and now thanks to you Tyler Oakley, I can understand so much more clearer! It's strange how people are complaining about not being able to hear in the beginning and restarting things, when in real life, they have just experienced something where many deaf people do go through every single day. This is something that i hope will grow bigger on the internet soon. So thanks for sharing a new way for people to watch your videos Tyler! We all love you :)

I am fucking crying right now. Its so uncommon for hearing people, especially really popular and influential ones like Tyler, to recognize the struggle that deaf and hard of hearing people have. I know this was about non-English speakers as well, but the fact that you even mentioned the deaf community made my entire week. You have no idea how much this video means to me as a deaf person. When I saw what was happening in the intro I literally burst into tears. Thank you so much
