Mr. Brahimi indeed did join a noble cause in 1956, to fight for the liberation of Algerians. But, he also joined and made the decision to work with the dictatorship of Algeria since 1962. So, I would say he fought for himself to have a well awarded career. The Algerian people are well aware of who were with people, and who were against them for decades.

Not to omit he was a minister of foreign affairs 91-93 playing key role covering up the not only the Algerian military coup that led to the bloodiest decade & massacres of over 250, 000 civilians and tens of thousands missing to-date, unfortunately he in the end achieved nothing but serve western interests. Those facts are sadly kept secret

It’s been a while since the last time you checked on someone’s health! And now you confess that yours is not as good. How much did you get paid to check on Bouteflika’s health? 😂

Brahim was a great diplomat and an international missionair. Just a shame that he sided with the military government of algeria who quashed the peoples uprising against the oppressive regime!
