People that say Ryobi is the same as Milwaukee fall into three catergories:
1). They don’t know wtf they’re talking about
2). They can’t afford Milwaukee
3). They’ve never used a Milwaukee tool

You know Ryobi is no where near the quality of Milwaukee 😂

They are owned by the same corporation. But milwaukee is a professional grade tool and ryobi is made for office workers in this video

😂😂😂 just cuz they are made in the same factory doesn't mean they are built with the same materials.

Ryobi and Milwaukee are two popular power tool brands that have gained quite a following in the DIY and professional communities. While both brands offer a wide range of tools, they are actually manufactured by different companies.

Ryobi is a brand owned by Techtronic Industries (TTI), a global manufacturer of power tools and outdoor equipment. TTI has manufacturing facilities located in various countries, including China, Mexico, and the United States. Ryobi tools are primarily manufactured in TTI's own factories, ensuring quality control and consistency across their product line.

On the other hand, Milwaukee tools are produced by Milwaukee Tool, a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries. Milwaukee Tool has its own dedicated manufacturing facilities, which are separate from those used for Ryobi tools. These facilities are located in the United States, specifically in Greenwood, Mississippi, and Brookfield, Wisconsin. Milwaukee Tool takes pride in its commitment to manufacturing high-quality tools that are designed to withstand the demands of professional use.

So, while both Ryobi and Milwaukee tools are part of the same parent company, they are manufactured in different facilities. This distinction allows each brand to maintain its own unique identity and focus on meeting the specific needs of their target markets.

Now, you might be wondering about compatibility between Ryobi and Milwaukee tools. While they are not built in the same facilities, some Ryobi and Milwaukee tools do share similar features and functionalities. For example, both brands offer cordless power tools that utilize lithium-ion batteries, which can be interchangeable within their respective brands. However, it's important to note that Ryobi and Milwaukee batteries are not cross-compatible due to differences in their design and voltage requirements.

In conclusion, Ryobi and Milwaukee tools are not built in the same facilities. Ryobi tools are manufactured by Techtronic Industries, while Milwaukee tools are produced by Milwaukee Tool, a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries. Despite this distinction, both brands offer a wide range of tools that cater to different user needs. So, whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional contractor, you can find the right tool for your projects from either Ryobi or Milwaukee.

IT DEPENDS ON THE USE! Ryobi will do pretty much any residential DIY job. Most homeowners over buy for what they need just so they can feel like they're in the cool kids club. That being said I did over buy on my dewalt but I bought my collection at a steep discount while deal hunting

Been a railroad mechanic for 17 yrs. Bought Ryobi bcause it was cheap. It broke quick. Bought some Dewalt & Milwaukee stuff and in the shop I work in, Milwaukee has proven the best.

as a man in his 30s, i think the dudes that say ryobi's are the same thing as milwaukees are the same dudes that say "why would i need a truck for the one time a year i need to haul something" and then proceed to ask their friends with trucks to help them move stuff every couple weeks

No their not the same.
If by chance they are made in the same place, that has absolutely no impact being the same thing.
Ok, do the batteries interchange? Alright then.

Mikwaukee. I have both and doing a porch today two brushed drills i was amazed how much more grunt my Mikwaukee had vs the ryobi when i finally ran ryobi battery from full charge to empty. Like its really noticeable the difference in performance. For vehicle wrenching if its electric im running milwaukee only

They Literally would not sell a Milwaukee drill for $200 if the Exact same drill was green and being sold for $70 with a RYOBI logo on it.

My answer is it depends on why you’re buying the tool, if your a pro go for dewalt, Milwaukee, or makita, if not buy what fits your needs

Very true it might’ve been made in the same factory but different parts they make sure of that. People in professional trades who put their tools through the rigor every day will notice these differences a Ryobi could go for a while and might even be able to be comparable to a Milwaukee but it’s going to dog out at some point.

As a contractor there is a reason why after a year the Ryobi went to the garage sale and replaced everything Mke….
