I Started Hitting Perfect Golf Shots After Discovering This

If they was one thing that could help you hit driver straight and get you to hit your irons perfect this is it.

In this golf lesson Danny Maude reveals how the best ball strikers (those that can hit driver straight and know how to hit irons consistently) have one thing in common. They control the low point in their golf swing to within 1/2 inch. In comparison the average 10 handicap golfer is on average 6 inches out.

In this golf video you will learn what low point is and how you too can begin to control it. If you want to improve golf swing and hit driver straight then learning to control your low point is possibly the most important thing you can do.

✅ Practice Plan
You don't have to remember a thing. Here's a full practice plan you can take to the driving range or the golf course to help you with this lesson 👇

ABOUT DANNY

Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

Be prepared though. If it's a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

You can do the sand drill on the driving range matt, put a golf club shaft down then sprinkle baby powder along the length of the shaft, you've then got a strike reference station, it works brilliantly.

Danny, you make these basic, but vital bits of instruction so easy to understand. We all appreciate your real world advice. A Trackman for free. Brilliant.

I love this advice of trusting your body to figure out the skill. It’s almost like learning to balance on a bike. We make the swing so complicated where we forget, at the end of the day, it’s just an athletic movement that our bodies can learn. But, it’s a hard thing to do in golf without fancy equipment to analyze things. But this is a great drill!

I've got to give it to ya Danny, using a driving range ball holder to explain strike location is priceless 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Another great lesson. I practice low point every day by whacking weeds in the yard with a 7i. Smiled and laughed when spirit of Ben Doyle appeared @ 3:45 😂 Ben was a renowned teaching pro based in Carmel, CA who was one of the first pro teachers to adopt Homer Kelley’s Golf Machine theories. I’ve watched many of his videos and one of the things he was known for was teaching using the sand in a bunker. The guy who built my house, now a friend, was a previously a tour golfer and one of his students when he was a teenager and we’ve discussed things Ben taught him. 😊

Hi Danny, just to say a big thank you, I been watching your videos for quiet some time. I'm now 75 yrs old and hitting the ball better and straighter than ever, I been a slicer of the ball for the past 35 yrs at one point i stopped using my driver completely. I can now draw the ball at will or fade it, and last week I got a hole in one, my current fault is i never take a divot, so I hope your latest tip for the hitting the low point will help. keep up the great work, cheers Dennis.

Ok..."TrapMan" hailed it! What a simple yet powerful drill. Thanks to one of your low point lessons a while back, I've been using one of those cheap but accurate strike indicator mats with decent results. However, this drill provides even more information when it comes to the depth of strike. Love it. Love your lessons that apply to any skill level. Some instructors try too hard to translate and teach pro level skills that most golfers don't have the time, strength, or skill to mimic and therefore often just languish. However, things like consistency of setup and even low point control, are things anyone can learn and practice. Well done and thanks!

Great lesson. One thing I found that really helped me, especially on the course, is looking at the target side of the golf ball and trying to hit that. Helps me swing through the ball. Instead of looking at the back of the ball and trying to hammer that nail in it, which normally caused me to "hit" the ball.

Getting back into golf after a decade these lessons help a lot, thank you for the content, this channel helps a lot :)

A little tip at the range. If you put an alignment stick about 6 inches behind the ball it forces you to miss the stick and strike the ball first and make sure the low point is after the ball. You may whack the stick a few times at the beginning though 😂

This is exactly what I needed to see. Midway through yesterday's round my practice plan was going to be just taking swings with no ball and no target until I can consistently hit the ground where I'm trying to. Now I have a way more detailed and effective method for that. Awesome

Another brilliant video, Danny. Tried this on the range as I’d been losing distance with my irons recently. Love the bunker idea and the tip to feel I was coming in hitting the ground behind the ball first and then moving the contact forward. Practised with my short irons on a small Par 3 course. Worked a treat, increasing my distance by 10-15 yards (9 iron back up to 135 yds). Off to my own course tomorrow with some real confidence back in my mid irons)

I've been fixated with ball positions for nearly a year. I've started to get to the positions where I'm hitting the ball a lot better. My position is very similar to how you are describing. Today's lesson is brilliant for me as it's now clear I'm on the right track, but your clarity will help me refine it a bit more. Thanksyou Danny, for another excellent lesson.

Great visual lesson. I've said it before but how you keep thinking them up never ceases to amaze me
Thanks as always and have a great weekend

Another excellent lesson Danny. Put into action this morning. It improved my iron striking and hybrids, resulting in longer, higher and straighter shots.
Also, I did concentrate on keeping my body centred over the ball which also helped.

This is THE lesson for me Danny. Low point and early extension have been my nemesis for years. Thank you so much.

Absolutely the best training aide I’ve seen to improve ball striking. Danny is an incredible instructor. Thanks Danny!

i've seen this drill quite alot, but kept putting off trying it to focus on other " important " points first. However, this video showed me it's probably the most important thing for me to work on! the way you explained someone being able to hit a hook/ and slice at the same time with incorrect contact point described my issues perfectly! i will be grinding this drill out for sure!!
