A fish will have offspring, its offspring will have offspring and every one will be a little different. Add that up over billions of generations and you may not have a philosopher, but you will definitley have something somewhere that looks nothing like the original.

Pretty sure that’s a misunderstanding of entropy. In a closed system entropy increases but there are plenty of processes that have a negative entropy.

Entropy happens in closed systems.

The earth is an open system. Energy is being added to the earth from the sun

Evolution isnt about things getting simple. Evolution is about change determined by randomness and selektive pressure. It has no inherent Goal. It just runs.
