Your thinning procedure is a really good idea. I've been gardening for a long time and I figure you can never stop learning. What I have done is plant carrots with radishes. When it's time to pull radishes it leaves room for the carrots to grow and vice versa.
Your channel is great. I get a lot of value than from a lot of others. I live in the High Desert of California and the weather can be quite challenging to garden here, heat, cold, winds. Thanks so much for sharing the wealth of information.

I followed this video to grow my carrots and they germinated quickly and at a very high rate! Just waiting for them to get a bit bigger now to thin. The advice in this video was so helpful, now I use your channel to help me with all my other plants 😊

Thank you for the thinning idea! 👏💡That’s brilliant! I’ll definitely do the same and just let all my carrot seedlings live a little longer.😊

Thanks for the thinning tip!
I felt so reluctant to have to take out all those little carrots, instead of giving them a chance to get big enough to eat 😊🧡🌱

Thank you so much. Lost my carrots to the latest frost down here in TX, even though I mulched and covered with frost cloth. Going to try again.
Thank you for the tips!

That is a great idea to thin the carrots when they're ready to eat so none are wasted!

Great description. I actually tried this in containers theis year. The raccoons emptied the grow bags before any germination. Messed up my peas too.

Love it. Just like my barrels, easy to start early. I like to use Vessy's pelleted seed, easy planting and spacing. Come on spring time.
