Fall is apon us, and so is hurricane season. Today I decided to head out before a hurricane hits to go after some pond monsters. My favorite lure to tie up this time of year is the micro swimbait. Can we catch a monster bass?

Try and switch your trebles to in line single hooks like the spook top water cuz yea treble hooks sucks so bad if it gets hooks the wrong way such a hassle dealing with one hook so much better

I am so far behind on your videos, but academy just opened a store 3 miles from my house (I know I’m in trouble right). But I saw these 6th sense panorama soft baits, they look SOO real, didn’t know if you’ve tried them. Let me know if so, or if not, would love to see them in action.
Also, I think Imma use my 20% coupon at academy to finally get me a DC. Just not sure SLX or Curado, I’ll be fishing fresh and brackish maybe some salt so was thinking about the curado. Any thoughts or suggestions? Also what’s a good rod that would match if I did the Curado, Googan Gold go to? What is your combo for your DC? What line? Should I do braid?

Bro those arent micro swimbaits lol theres 2.5in jointed swimbaits out there. Those are smaller swimbaits and actually considered standard swimbaits 😂. Its the size adverage fisherman can use on their normal gear. No specialized gear needed like a big swimbait rod or larger reel, no bfs setup lol. The micros are better on a bfs setup or spinning because they are really light weight.
