The plaintiff and defendant used to work together as carpenters when the defendant allegedly asked to date the plaintiff’s daughter. The plaintiff’s daughter reportedly declined because the defendant slept with one of her friends. The plaintiff says he loaned the defendant money for a court case, but the defendant failed to pay it back, so the plaintiff is suing his former co-worker for the money. The defendant insists the plaintiff was the one who approached the defendant about dating his daughter, and he is countersuing for harassment.
